Yoga and your Feet
There's no question that yoga can be beneficial for not only your physical health, but also your mental well being. Did you know that yoga can be particularly great for your feet? Yoga not only helps to stretch the muscles of your feet, which can alleviate pain associated with plantar fasciitis, it also promotes good circulation going down to your toes.
'Hatha' yoga in particular puts great emphasis in the importance of your feet. This kind of yoga is primarily standing, and almost every pose relies on the foundation of the feet for balance. Over the next few days, we will share a series of poses that promote good foot health and circulation. At the end you should be able to piece them all together into a relaxing routine that helps not only your body in general, but your feet as well.
